RELIGIOUS LIBERTY FOR TODAY

Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. How do we maintain our Religious Liberty on a personal level in our unstable world, where violence, authoritarianism and intolerance are on the rise? This weekend will focus on personal, practical steps to uphold our own Liberty of Conscience. 

James Rafferty

James Rafferty is Director of Discipleship Ministry for 3ABN. He is an ordained pastor, evangelist, and author of several books. He and his wife Risë have been married for 34 years and are blessed with two adult children. 

Scott Ritsema

Co-founder of Liberty and Health Alliance and featured presenter on satellite TV, Scott Ritsema received his M.A. in Social Science in 2007. Husband, father of 3, Scott has presented seminars on the effects of media throughout the church for the past 12 years. 

Eva Tompkins, Esq

“Eva Tompkins is a licensed attorney in the State of New York. She practiced law for 19 years in New York before retiring from the active practice of law to start her own business in the area of finance. In her business, Eva is an active participant in the financial markets and an active trader of currencies, equities, and commodities. As such, she monitors the activity and monetary policies of the Central Banks around the world. She is the author of a substack at https://revelation1317cbdcwatch.substack.com where she writes about worldwide financial developments with an eye toward Bible prophecy.” 

Jonathan Cherne, Esq

Jonathan Cherne is an attorney and CPA. His law practice focuses on helping those who have suffered Religious Discrimination in the workplace, as well as Estate Planning. Mr. Cherne was one of the attorneys that represented Gerald Groff in his Supreme Court case against the Postal Service. Mr. Cherne also serves as the Associate Director of American Christian Ministries-a ministry dedicated to spreading the 3 Angels Messages without compromise.  

Robert Hines

Elder Robert Hines, former chaplain, youth director and church pastor, runs Hephzibah Ministries; a self-supporting ministry which inspires, trains, and equips people to prepare spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and for the events that will precede it. Robert has been married to Paula for 32 years and they have three children: Phoebe, Joel and Joy.

Laurence Burn

Laurence was born in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Sensing a strong calling to ministry, he came to the United States and studied at Weimar College in California. After graduating from Weimar, he became the Youth Pastor at the Roseville SDA Church in Sacramento, California. A few mission trips later, he met and proposed to his soon-to-be wife Lois. After marriage the couple then moved to Andrews University, where Laurence enrolled in the MDiv program. He became an associate Pastor at Pioneer Memorial Church as a chaplain for Andrews University. Six years later he was hired by AFM where he currently works as the Training Director. Discipleship, Jesus’ command to invest in people, is his life’s core passion and driving principle.

Conrad Vine

Born into a pastoral family, Elder Vine grew up with his twin brother and two sisters in homes across the UK. After graduating with a business management degree (1995), he served int he UK public healthcare system before God led him to ADRA (1996). Initially serving in Azerbaijan, Elder Vine served with ADRA through 2002 in a variety of roles worldwide. Following seminary training at Newbold College (2002-2004), he and Luda began their pastoral ministry in London, UK. After serving as Secretary-Treasurer in the Middle East Union, they transitioned to pastoral ministry for 4 years in Minnesota before Elder Vine answered the call to serve as President of Adventist Frontier Missions (afmonline.org). Conrad and Luda were married in December 1999, and regard their marriage as a personal blessing from a loving Heavenly Father.

Dr. Margaret Song

Dr. Song is a board-certified internist. She received her medical training at Loma Linda University, St mary Medical Center Long Beach, and UCLA. She has a Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology from Loma Linda University School of Public health. Prior to her medical training she taught at Wildwood Lifestyle Center. She has a life-long passion for teaching people how to achieve better health by following rational methods of healing.
