This event will bring together Biblical theology, modern prophecy, church history, and current experience, to explore the foundations of the Adventist perspective on the relationship of whole person care and the gospel, the clinic and the church. Presentations will inform and inspire churches and members to take up the work of gospel medical ministry, and challenge healthcare providers to connect their work to the body of Christ, the Great Physician.

Pr. Michael Hess M.D.

Being raised as a pastor’s kid gave me the opportunity to be involved in ministry at a young age. While attending seminary, I became convicted that God wanted me to combine pastoral ministry with medical ministry, so, after completing my M.Div. at Andrews University, I attended medical school at Loma Linda. Following a family medicine residency, I spent 19 years in Northern California working as a pastor and physician. I am married to Vickie, who grew up in Indiana, and we have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. When not working I enjoy going into nature to wander and explore. I am excited about the opportunities for service here at Village as I work with Jesus to guide people to complete restoration, physical, mental, and spiritual, through a deeper walk with Him
